Day 1: Time to wake up already.

I hear that birth is very exhausting (among other things) from some very reliable sources. It seems that all that being born wore Baby Brave out and he needed about 24 hours of rest before he was ready to be social. Now he is all rested up and he can keep his eyes open long enough to eat on a regular basis, which is a relief, because yesterday he only ate like twice.

Being a parent is something that can at times be breeze and challenging or be fun and be awful all at once. Some of my favorite memories of Strong and Brighton where at the time of happening some of the most awful moments I can remember. The only difference between awful and awesome is a few days, weeks or years. So next time something awful happens, let out an enthusiastic Woo-Hoo! and enjoy because by the time your 60 it will probably be the only story you can remember and will tell it over and over to your grandkids.
