We where in relationship with some wonderful people; whose, at the time beliefs lined up with ours because we had much to talk about when it came to eating healthy and loving God. So when the discussion of "Natural" childbirth came up we where all about it. We figured it would be a great way to have our first baby. I will skip the long list of details, but in the end, it was an experience we are in no hurry to relive. Our second baby we decided we would glean the good things from the natural experience but use a few little helpers - namely the epidural, and that was a life saver, literally. Brighton was 2 weeks past due and they had to induce her. She was so big she got stuck on the way out and our wonderful nurse had to do a maneuver that to me looked like jumping on a trampoline to get the baby to come on down. It was fun, but this time is a totally different ball game. We are in a different state, one that is very uptight about everything medical, and this baby has been examined very closely for many reasons.
Enough babble. We are at the hospital now, and the induction process has begun. At the first signs of labor, momma was begging for some pain relief, which is a huge contrast to #1, who had nothing. But all in all, Things are going great. I think by noon tomorrow the baby will be here. And while we are betting, I bet he will weigh 8 pounds 1 oz.
